Martyr shrine in Taichung is on Lixing Rd., next to Confucius Temple. dedicated to the fallen heroes of China's wars. The impressive gateway and the traditional Chinese palace-style architecture make this a impressive neighbor to the Confucius Temple.

    The grounds and buildings are well-maintained. In the middle of modern Taichung restaurants and shopping. Nice place to take pictures.

    Not really a review because we didn't get to go in as the temple was closed! Forgot to check temple hours...Please learn from my mistake and avoid Mondays. I'm sure the temple is lovely!
