Warehouse No. 20

Posted Date:2016/03/31 7899

Originally used for transportation and shipment, the Taiwan Railway Administration renovated a number of its warehouses (from No. 20 to No. 26) and collectively renamed them "Warehouse No. 20: The Railway Art Network, Taichung Station" in 1998, transforming them into a place for culture and art exchange and creating a new landmark for art in Taichung. Warehouse No. 20 consists of exhibition area, theatres, cafes, and free space for artists to create.

Took some time to locate the "entrance". Very run down, most exhibition halls or shops were closed or under renovation.

    Poorly maintained and boring

    Traveler rating:1 2016-04

The entrance of Art Stock 20 is very small and not easy to find. Also it is very shabby and I almost got tripped by the poorly maintained wooden pathway on my way out. Not recommended.
