The highly anticipated Taichung Bicycle Carnival is set to make its grand return on August 29, marking its milestone 10th edition this year! The Tourism and Travel Bureau, Taichung City Government, once again invites people from across Taiwan to explore Taichung Mountain Town by bike. Spanning approximately 14.8 kilometers, the route starts from Rhinoceros Beetle Ecological Park in Dongshi District, follows Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way and Hou-Feng Bike Path, passes over Dajia River Steel Bridge and through the century-old Tunnel No. 9, and finishes at Houli Equestrian, offering a rail trail cycling experience unique to Taiwan.

Debuting this year, the "Taichung Cycling Digital Certification" program lets participants check in along the route via the Fun in Taichung app to collect exclusive digital badges — and enter for a chance to win round-trip airfare between Taiwan and Hong Kong. The entire event is free to join; riders may bring their own bicycles or choose to rent one, making it easy for visitors to travel light and set off on the journey.
