This year, the city government brings the Taichung International Dance Carnival to Fengyuan District for the first time, inviting 15 groups of performers from home and abroad, including those from Europe, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, to energetically stage their performances in front of Fengyuan Station. In addition, this year's event features a national fun dance competition on September 14th and a dance teaching experience activity on September 15th, allowing people from all over the country who are interested in dance to come to Fengyuan in Taichung and have fun together. The event combines popular tourist attractions such as Tzu Chi Temple and the Miaodong Fuxing Commercial District, and unites with neighboring stores to promote local tourism, with the expectation that Fengyuan as the center can boost the lodging and tourism value of the surrounding areas, and build Taichung into a city of international dance festivals and celebrations.
