旧台中火车站第二代车站，称为「台中驿」，即今旧台中火车站主体建筑。台中火车站为砖造之「自由古典风格」建筑。车站的立面外观以红砖墙面配上白色水平饰带，为日本建筑师辰野式的风格。设计商品以正面山墙的泥塑装饰为灵感，优雅浪漫的花草装饰搭配外销出国的好口碑台湾水果，在趣味性与艺术性间展现台湾设计的创意美感。
The old Taichung Railway Station stands as the second iteration of its original building, comprising the iconic structure we admire today. Crafted from bricks, the Station embodies a blend of classical and liberal styles. Its façade, constructed with red bricks adorned with white horizontal banding, bears the distinctive touch of Japanese architect Kingo TATSUNO. Inspired by the cartouches on the front gables of the Station, the products are intricately embellished with floral motifs and beloved Taiwanese fruits exported worldwide.
