Zhongzheng Camp Zone in Dakeng Scenic Area is the largest public camping site. While each site is linked with connecting stone paths, campers can still enjoy some privacy. The entire area can accommodate over 1,500 campers, offering comprehensive public facilities as well as camping gear rentals. There is a firefly restoration area and a butterfly ecology education area in the Acacia forest in the camping area where natural environment is carefully maintained for the restoration of fireflies and butterflies. Many campers come during April to June for the fireflies. To camp in Zhongzhen Camp Zone, you can register at the camping administration office. Dakeng hiking trails and Cartoon King Creative Park are some attractions you can visit in the area.
