There is only one section paved with ties path. The rest of trail are cement industrial road and tack for agricultural machinery. Most of plants on trail are bamboo and then fruit trees. Hikers can either take Trail No.7 down the mountain from nearby tracks and from the terminal to Trail No.6 to visit Guanyin Pavilion or take the same route back to parking lot, that will cost about an hour.
Dakeng Trail No.7
Distance: About 1.3 km. It's suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
Entrance: Taking a left turn 20 m in front of Parking lot No.6 and go uphill, you will reach the entrance. If you go forward downhill in front of industrial road, you can get to Guanyin Pavilion; if you turn right at intersection, you will get to Parking lot No.6. Due to the crowds of visitors on weekend, it conducts one-way traffic control on industrial road, so it's not recommended for cars to enter the Parking lot and Guanyin Pavilion.
Features: Trail No.7 ends at Wind-Moving Rock Park. There are lots of orchards like oranges, longan, lychee along the walkway. The trees there make a pleasant shade and the gentle slopes allow visitors to hike easily.
