As a space for preserving the culture of military villages and promoting cultural creativity, Qingshui Art Village can now be stationed in by local communities or artists for holding exhibition and performance activities on an irregular basis. Bureau of Cultural Affairs also holds “Military Village Cultural Festival” jointly with local communities to deepen tourists’ understanding towards Qingshui’s military village culture.
A part of military village buildings has been preserved in the park. As if they have their own life, the buildings that stand along the long and narrow alleys have “grown” ups and downs with different kinds of roofs, presenting a unique and interesting scenery of Taiwan’s military village culture.
