Introduction

Anchor
Entering the Qingshui District Agricultural Museum is like traveling on a time machine back to the agrarian society in Taiwan. It was an era that best showcases the purity and hospitality of Taiwanese people.
The establishment of Agricultural Museum initiated back in 1990 and was widely supported by farmers. Thanks to the selfless donations, traditional farming tools and daily appliances commonly used in an agriculture based lifestyle that are slowly disappearing are all now well preserved and displayed in the museum. Some precious antiques were even gifted to the museum.
There are 17 types of tools displayed in the museum based on the function and Taiwanese customs including tools for production, daily lives, agriculture sub-sectors, fishing and appliances usually found in living rooms and bedrooms. These relics not only allow people today to learn about Taiwan's agricultural culture and its evolution, but also serve as proofs of the wisdom and persevering spirit of Taiwanese farmers in early times. If you are interested in learning about the Taiwanese culture of agriculture, Qingshui District Agricultural Museum is highly recommended.
