Renovated from an old rice barn, Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery has several storage spaces and a retail store. It is the first aesthetic winery in Taiwan that features a well-preserved old rice shedder, a precious cultural relic of the old-time agricultural society. Since the weather in Taiwan is not the greatest for sake brewing, the winery sent experts to Japan to acquire knowledge and techniques of sake brewing. The winery finally conquered all difficulties and created a sake brewery that functions perfectly all year round. The specialty sake is brewed using a strictly cultivated Yichuan rice and water from the pure mountain spring in Puli. The winery’s lychee honey wine and two other rice wines are respectively awarded a golden prize and a silver prize by the International Wine Award. You can get to Wufeng Farmers’ Association Winery by bus. Alight at Shanjiao Alley Station.
