Dakeng Hot Spring is found in the Dakeng Scenic Area. Situated at an elevation of under 300 meters, the terrain consists of low-lying, gently rolling hills. Due to crustal movements and tectonic pressure, natural sodium bicarbonate springs have formed approximately 2,000 meters beneath the surface. The spring water has a pH level of around 7–8 and a temperature ranging from 30°C to 60°C. Local operators currently extract the hot spring water through drilling. Dakeng Hot Spring is closely integrated with the natural resources of the Dakeng Scenic Area, offering unique attractions in every season. Summer is known for fresh bamboo shoots, autumn for citrus fruits, and the autumn and winter months are ideal for enjoying maple foliage while soaking in the hot springs. With its rich ecology, abundant hot spring resources, and convenient transportation access, visitors can relax in the springs while experiencing Dakeng’s local produce and seasonal natural beauty.
