2018 Taichung Comic Arts Festival will take place from July 13 to July 29 in Ya Tang Hall at Taichung Cultural & Creative Industries Park.
This year’s festival features Taiwanese tales of monsters, spirits and deities. Intended to be intriguing, entertaining and slightly intimidating, visitors to the festival will also find the exhibition very educational as it is rich in local cultures and traditions. What’s more, the festival is to showcase the limitless possibilities for Taiwanese monsters that are now featured in comic arts, games and even in our daily lives. In fact, the beauty of authentic Taiwanese local culture is amplified through the visualizations of these monsters.
The festival also comprises monster themed forums, DIY workshops and other fun activities, all of which are free of charge. Visitors of all ages are welcome to participate in the 2018 Taichung Comic Arts Festival.
