2018 Taichung International Dance Parade & Festival

2018 Taichung International Dance Parade & Festival is a platform for international tourism and cultural exchanges based on international collaborations. It not only facilitates global participation but also the development of new airline routes. Street blocks of Taichung turn into a massive stage that features tourism highlights, promoting Taichung to international travelers.
This year marks the third year of the event which is only bigger and more fun! 2018 Taichung International Dance Parade & Festival features performance groups from Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. Supported by civic groups and enterprises, the number and scale of domestic performance groups involved this year has also increased in light of the aspiration to fully embody the national dance spirit in the streets of Taichung.
A series of events of the Dance Parade & Festival will kick off starting in October. Seven pop-up performances will be surprising audiences in major commercial areas in Taichung and Taipei. Everyone is welcome to engage in close-up performing art experiences!
Warm-up events will take place on October 27 and 28. You’ll also want to check out the highly anticipated main events scheduled from November 9 to November 11 at Charlotte Park and Taichung City Government Plaza. In addition to performances, there will also be check-in activities and a themed marketplace. Participants can also take part in a stamp collecting fair at the commercial areas to enter a lucky draw for roundtrip tickets to Tokyo!
