2023 Taichung Christmas Carnival “Taichung Sweet, LINE FRIENDS”

This year, for the first time, Taichung has collaborated with LINE FRIENDS to erect a 16-meter-high pink Christmas tree in front of the Old Taichung Train Station. Brown and Cony, holding Taichung's specialty sun cakes and ice cream, have created a 'Sweet Music Box' together with a 360° rotating Christmas tree. Additionally, the lantern exhibition area for this event has expanded to include Zhongshan Road this year, providing a larger event space and abundant content, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the romantic and sweet carnival atmosphere
The Luchun Exhibition Area also presents the “Jewelry Box Theater” water show, immersing the audience in a magical world woven with light and shadows. The water show runs every half hour between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM from December 15, 2023, to January 1, 2024. It is a highlight of Taichung’s Christmas celebration that you won’t want to miss this year.
During the event period, you will also discover a market adjacent to the Old Taichung Railway Station. With 40 booths offering cultural creativity, DIY, floral art, plant, dining, and bakery products and services, this market is a great place for shopping and leisurely strolls.
