Taichung County Road 136 Bicycle Path is composed of mountain roads, steep slopes, and narrow turns. It is highly challenging and suitable for experienced cyclists only.
Taiping Bat Cave was originally an artificial irrigation channel developed by the Lin Family in Taiping. The nearby Bat Cave hiking trail retains the original features of mountains and forests. It is a habitat for a variety of insects, animals, and plants.
The Chikanding section of the path is a highly challenging slope, which gives a special sense of satisfaction when it is conquered. At the summit, all the beautiful mountain scenery is within sight.
