Taichung City Seaside Bikeway is 69.2 kilometers in length. This bikeway connects a series of coastal scenic spots of Taichung, including Port of Taichung, Wuqi Fishing Port, Gaomei Wetlands, Nanzhuang Seawall, Wenliao Fishing Port, Daan Mazu Park, Daan River Bridge, and Xishi Seawalk.
Wuqi Fishing Port was originally a small fishing village but later transformed into a popular tourist fishing port. Visitors come here to enjoy the scenery along the seawall and taste the fresh catches.
Gaomei Wetlands (Gaomei Wildlife Sanctuary) is located on the south of Dajia River estuary in Qingshui. Covering an area of 701.3 hectares, it is not only the largest known habitat of Yunlin Guancao (Bolboschoenus planiculmis, a species of flowering plant), but also one of the few wild geese breeding locations in Taiwan, making it an important ecological conservation area.

Taichung City Seaside Bikeway is 69.2 kilometers in length, connecting a series of well-known coastal scenic spots of Taichung.
You can stop wherever you like, touring the attractions at your own pace. You can also arrange a multi-day trip to tick all the boxes of the must-sees of coastal Taichung.
The bikeway is close to the route of Dajia Mazu's birthday pilgrimage. Every year during the event time the route is very busy.
