I once tasted an exquisite orange cake in a handmade pastry shop on the Champs Elysees in Paris. At that moment, I happened to witness an orange tumbling onto the platform tracks, and I remembered how much my mother loves oranges.

I decided to make my mother this special, hand-made cake using the oranges she loves so dearly.
