Zi Yun Yan is for worshipping Guanyin and Buddha. It is also called “Guanyinting.”” in Chinese. It is the biggest Guanyin temple in Taichung. The main hall is a two-storied architecture, with a bell tower on both sides. The temple roof is made of golden yellow tiles. It is very delicate. It was built during the Kangxi Era of the Qing Dynasty. After many renovations, it was finally rebuilt in 1972. There is an old monument from the 43th year of Qianlong Era that recorded the pioneering stories in Taiwan, which is very precious.
