Taichung has a vibrant hot spring tourism industry. Besides Guguan, many famous hot spring scenic spots exist, such as Dakeng, Wuri, and Dongshi. Every year, the Tourism and Travel Bureau of the Taichung City Government launches the "Taichung Hot Spring Festival" series of activities.
Event Series
Hot Spring Concert and Tribal Market:
Invite local performance groups, parent-child dancing and singing, and well-known indigenous singers to perform. Local farmers and vendors also showcase and sell local delicacies and specialty products.
Particular Clothing Experience Cosplay:
Free experience of indigenous clothing and various bathing suits. You can also earn an NTD 50 discount coupon for the tribal market if you take a photo and check-in on-site. You also have a chance to participate in online accommodation vouchers and soup vouchers lucky draws.
Hot Spring Hotel Discounts:
The Taichung City Government collaborated with Taichung hot spring operators to launch various accommodation discount plans during the event.
