The Taichung Section of Round-island Cycling Route No. 1 is 42.9 kilometers in length. On the way, cyclists will ride through Daan River Bridge and Dajia River Bridge and enjoy the magnificent riverfront scenery of the western Taiwan.

Zhenlan Temple in Dajia District has a history of more than two hundred years and is one of the most famous Mazu Temples in Taiwan. Crowds of worshipers visit the temple all year round. The pilgrimage in the third lunar month every year has become a world-class religious event that attracts domestic and international tourists. It is one of the most classic attractions in Dajia.

Tiezhan Mountain is located in northeast Dajia District, Taichung City. It covers an area of more than 485,000 sq.m. During the Qing Dynasty, it was already listed as one of the twelve scenic spots of Taiwan known as "Tiezhan Sunset." There are cultural monuments such as the Sword Well and Koxinga Temple, as well as the Sculpture Square that promotes art in life. In recent years, it has become a popular attraction for events of family fun, culture and history, natural landscape, and sports and camping.

This bikeway is part of Round-island Cycling Route No. 1 and it is a classic, must-visit section for people biking around the island.

Dajia Zhenlan Temple and Dajia Railway Station are on the route. The surrounding area offers delicious local delicacies and is worth stopping by.

Visitors go through both Daan River Bridge and Dajia River Bridge on the way. The magnificent view of the river and the bridges is spectacular and enlightening.
