The Central Taiwan Coastal Branch of the Cycling Route No. 1-4 is 32.3 kilometers in length. The bikeway goes along Provincial Highway 61, connecting various attractions on the coast of Taichung City. Please consider your physical abilities when deciding whether you want to finish the full course. Visitors can also plan a multi-day biking trip, using Cycling Route No. 1-4 Central Taiwan Coastal Branch as a link to other bikeways and attractions, to enjoy Taichung to its fullest.

Taichung City Port Art Center is a multi-functional art exhibition venue. Opera performances, weekend cultural events, art exhibitions, and art courses are held here irregularly. It sets aside a corner of art in the city that allows citizens to find a spiritual oasis in their busy urban life.

Craftsmen’s Hometown Beauty Farm integrates local rural scenery and farm experience in Dajia. Visitors can enjoy kiln roasting of sweet potatoes, cycling, listening to the waves, watching sunset, and listening to insects and birds on the farm ridge. They can also enjoy the fresh catches from Songbo Fishing Port here. With a wide array of activities, it is a great place for grownups and children to enjoy the simple fun of countryside by the sea.

This bikeway is part of the Round-island Cycling Route No. 1 and it is a classic, must-visit section for people biking around the island.

Daan River and Dajia River estuary are on the route. The magnificent view of the river and the bridges is spectacular and enlightening.
