Taichung City Confucius Temple
The blueprint of the Taichung City Confucius Temple construction plan was an integration of opinions gathered from studies, scholars and experts. A Song Dynasty palace-style model was adopted with an intention to distinguish Taichung City Confucius Temple from the Qing Dynasty palace-style Martyr Shrine nearby. Whereas, the architecture plan was a downscaled version of the Qufu Confucius Temple in China.
During examination seasons, Taichung City Confucius Temple will organize blessing ceremonies for examinees and students. Other events like the sketching activity are occasionally held as well to promote local culture and inheritance.
