Dakeng Trail No. 7 is 1.3 kilometers in length. Most visitors enter through parking lot No. 6. It ends at Fengdongshi Park, where hikers can turn around and take the same way back or proceed to Trail No. 6 for descending. The elevation is between 227 and 373 meters. The trail is gentle and easy, suitable for visitors of all ages.

Except for a small section near Fengdongshi paved with logs, most part of the trail is accessible to agricultural vehicles. A lot of bamboos are found on the way, and there are many fruit gardens along the way.

There are pavilions, parking lots, viewing platforms, and restrooms in Fengdongshi Park. Visitors enjoy the cool sun shades, make tea, and chat under the trees.

It is recommended to bring drinking water in personal bottles.

Visitors are recommended to wear footwear, clothing, and hats suitable for hiking.

There are mosquitoes and other insects in the mountains. It is recommended to wear light-colored, long-sleeved shirts and pants. Apply insect repellent as needed.

This trail connects to Dakeng Trails No. 6 and 8. Different routes can be taken to get into and out of the mountain area.

This trail is gentle in slope, with many rest stops on the way, suitable for visitors of all ages.

Notice

Hikers can turn around and take the same way back. Please consider your fitness level to estimate the time required for a round-trip hike.

Dakeng Trails No. 6, 7, 8, 9, and 9-1 are suitable for people of all ages, while Trails No. 1 to 5 and No. 5-1 are more challenging and suitable for experienced hikers only. Dakeng Trails No. 1 to 5, 5-1, and 10 are featured by steep slopes, not recommended for people with heart disease or in poor physical conditions.

Please take away the garbage you produced along the trail.

Do not feed or disturb wild animals.

Do not build a fire, barbecue, or use gas stoves in the mountains.

To avoid bee stinging, please do not make noise or disturb the bees when you see them. Hikers are advised not to wear perfume or clothes in bright colors. The rule of thumb is, always keeping distance from the bees.
